The Gozo Motocross Association will start the new season and new championship next Sunday on 11th October 2020 from 01:00pm onwards.
The association's president and his team are eager to get this season started, on a new and revamped track which has been undergoing intense testing during practice sessions in order to have a state of the art and safe circuit.
"These are uncertain and difficult times we are living in, however ou love for this sport has not faded one bit and we look forward to the next season. For the health and safety of our riders, members, and the general public we will follow all health measures as issued by the authorities" says GMA secretary VickyAnn Xuereb.
For the first time ever, the track will not be accessible to the general public and all races will be done behind closed doors. Only riders and one member accompanying the rider, association committee, executives, and marshals shall be allowed to enter the track. A hand sanitizing and temperature reading station shall be set at the entrance, with the details of all those who enter being logged.
