TRIALS ACADEMY....IN GOZO !

GMA TRIALS ACADEMY – OFFICIAL LAUNCH


A special afternoon for the Gozo Motocross Association as we officially launched the GMA Trials Academy – a new initiative dedicated to introducing young people to the exciting sport of motorcycle trials.


We were honoured to welcome Hon. Julia Farrugia and Hon. Clint Camilleri, together with their staff members, who met with the parents and young riders, as well as members of the GMA Committee. We were also pleased to welcome officials from the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector, whose support and encouragement are greatly appreciated.


The afternoon provided an opportunity to explain our vision for the Trials Academy and our aim to give children, teenagers and adult the opportunity to discover a new motorcycling discipline, develop balance, concentration, coordination and confidence in a safe and structured environment.


A special highlight of the launch was the trials demonstration by our young riders Craig Piscopo and Trystn Theuma, who showed everyone some of the skills, balance and precision involved in trials riding.

We would like to thank the Ministers, their staff, the VO Office, all the parents, riders and GMA Committee members for joining us and supporting this exciting new chapter for motorcycle sport in Gozo.

Unlike motocross, Trials isn't about speed—it's all about balance, precision, skill, and determination. Riders tackle a variety of obstacles by mastering control and technique, making it one of the most exciting and rewarding motorcycle sports in the world.

This is your chance!



To help new riders get started, the Association has two trial bikes available, allowing beginners to experience the sport before investing in their own bike. No previous trials experience is required - just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn! Be among the first generation of Trials riders in Gozo and help us build this exciting new discipline from the ground up.
